We are looking for a Sales Strategy Lead to join the Sales Strategy team in Milan.

As a Sales Strategy Lead, your mission will be to act as a trusted partner to Sales Leadership, helping shape and execute Doctolib’s go-to-market strategy across markets. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Business performance & strategic analysis

  • Define and monitor key sales and account management performance metrics (pipeline health, win rates, quota attainment, forecasting accuracy)
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses (customer segmentation, territory white space, sales productivity) to surface actionable insights and own their implementation
  • Create compelling executive-level reports for QBRs, leadership reviews, and strategic planning sessions.

Target setting & sales planning

  • Own and drive the annual and quarterly target-setting process for the sales organization, ensuring targets are ambitious, fair, and grounded in market reality
  • Build and maintain robust models to allocate quotas across segments, regions, and individual contributors
  • Translate company-level revenue goals into granular sales targets, coordinating with Finance and Sales Leadership to align on assumptions and methodology
  • Monitor performance against targets throughout the year and recommend mid-cycle adjustments when needed.

Budget definition & headcount planning

  • Partner with Finance to define and manage the sales budget, including headcount planning, capacity modeling, and cost-of-sales projections
  • Build business cases to support investment decisions (new hires, new markets, coverage model changes)
  • Track budget consumption and flag deviations proactively, proposing corrective actions where necessary.

Bonus & incentive plan design

  • Design, model, and maintain sales compensation and bonus plans that drive the right behaviors and align individual incentives with company objectives
  • Run simulations to assess the financial and motivational impact of different incentive structures before they are rolled out
  • Ensure bonus calculations are executed accurately and on time each period, in close coordination with Finance and HR
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Sales Leadership on compensation-related questions and disputes.

We are seeking a high-caliber Staff Software Engineer to join our Trading Systems team in Singapore, specifically anchoring our Post-Trade Data stream. In this role, you will be a technical leader responsible for shaping our end-to-end data story. You will solve complex architecture challenges for both near real-time and historical data systems, driving our data landscape strategy forward while ensuring our operational posture remains bulletproof. The ideal candidate is a versatile hybrid—someone with deep, specialized data engineering expertise who is also a well-rounded, hands-on software engineer capable of guiding a tight-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy: Provide technical direction and mentorship to the local engineering team; own the technical roadmap for the post-trade data stream, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high-quality engineering standards.
  • Data Architecture: Design, build, and optimize robust systems to process, store, and serve critical near real-time and historical post-trade data.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive key strategic data projects, including the integration and optimization of modern technologies like StarRocks to elevate our analytical capabilities.
  • Feature Development: Develop new products and product features on the Gemini platform, working as part of a tight-knit team of two to eight developers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of acting as a technical lead or senior architect.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in at least one backend language. We use mostly Scala and C++ on our backend and TypeScript on the frontend—it’s great if you’re comfortable in those or if you’re willing to learn.
  • Data Engineering Expertise: Heavy hands-on experience in the big data ecosystem, specifically working with distributed processing frameworks like Apache Flink and Apache Spark.
  • Execution & Collaboration: The ability to work closely across cross-functional teams, manage complex dependencies, and handle multiple competing priorities in collaboration with peers.
  • Mindset: A customer and product-focused mindset, with the ability to balance speed and quality without compromising on security or operational stability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Deep work experience or knowledge of the finance industry, payments, exchange systems, or electronic trading systems.
  • Crypto & Blockchain: Experience working with or being a power user of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and/or blockchain technology.

  • Developing and executing a plan to increase local Bolt Food’s customer base, achieving sales targets in the city/country/region, and engaging in negotiations to successfully close deals.
  • Shaping the local sales strategy by identifying growth opportunities, prioritising profitability, and maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Evaluating and supervising expansion opportunities while ensuring we have enough supply to match demand and keeping track of market shifts, opportunities, new products, and competition status.
  • Continuously seeking innovative ways to improve performance, including managing and updating sales tools, Bolt Food’s Sales Playbook, and additional material.

About you:

  • You have solid experience in Sales or a related field, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • You are fluent in Azeri and proficient in English, and can confidently network and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You excel in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets with practical negotiation strategies and tactics, especially in high-growth sectors like shared economy, technology, transport, and startups.
  • You demonstrate a highly data-driven, analytical mindset, and you’re an experienced CRM user who can examine data to optimise your team’s activities and identify patterns and trends within the data.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, easily overcoming obstacles and adapting quickly to change.
