Job Description

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”

  • Support recruitment team through job posting, interview scheduling, onboarding, event planning, organizing university visits, etc.

  • Assist in Early Career Program events facilitation (intern/trainee events, orientations, socials, final presentations, etc.).

  • Curate early careers newsletters, flyers and handouts for school visits, Intern events, etc.

  • Curate social media content to tell stories and build our audience through DreamWorks Careers social media channels

  • Provide candidates with a positive interview experience by communicating interview details to candidates.

  • Create/update candidate records, track submissions and maintain our intern/trainee/artist database.

  • Act as a support to the Recruiting team for industry hiring events/conferences and other recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

  • Exceptional creative writing, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)

  • Must be willing to work in Glendale, California

About the Team

We want to find the best people to join our team and then help you to do your best work. The Employee Relations Team is a new Center of Excellence within the People Team, with the mission to ensure our organization’s treatment of every employee is fair, respectful, and consistent with our Cloudflare Capabilities. To support that mission, this position’s responsibilities fall into proactive and reactive categories. Reactive responsibilities include handling complex investigations and partnering with business leaders on the performance management process. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Director, Employee Relations and support our Americas People Team Business Partners (PTBPs). You will be partnering with key stakeholders across Cloudflare in various ways, including those listed below:

What You’ll Do

  • Operate as a trusted advisor, consulting with PTBPs and senior business leaders on complex organizational issues and challenging assumptions to create solutions that solve business problems.
  • Conduct complex and thorough investigations into employee relations matters, providing fair and objective recommendations for resolution.
  • Adhere to service level agreements for timely response and follow up to issues, including appropriate use of the case management system, effective and thorough documentation and reporting, and all associated processes.
  • Build, analyze, and maintain ER metrics and present data to People Team partners on a quarterly basis.
  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of ER trends, presenting data-driven stories in business language to influence talent decisions and advise on the productivity impact of attrition.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers in assigned business units to address employee performance issues, including the administration of the PIP or Package process.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development Team to develop training workshops/classes/toolkits for leaders.
  • Assist with the updating of Company policies and responding to inquiries and concerns.
  • Lead and coordinate major global ER projects, requiring significant analysis and the development of innovative solutions that have a broad impact on the ER model and company policy.

Requirements:

  • Extensive GTM Recruiting Experience: You are a respected Senior Recruiter with a proven track record of success, and well-versed in your craft.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: You operate two “plays” ahead and can anticipate potential bottlenecks or challenges before they have a chance to materialize. You regularly resolve complex issues with little support from managers and make sound decisions that drive positive business outcomes
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills: You are an effective negotiator who is often able to get candidates over the line who might have otherwise taken offers elsewhere. You understand and can explain Cloudflare’s value proposition
  • AI & Tool Proficiency: You bring innovative solutions to your role, actively leveraging AI automation (such as AI-powered sourcing assistants and LLMs for complex Boolean logic/market mapping) to multiply your efficiency. You also must have a good grasp of the advanced features of modern recruiting tools
  • Candidate Experience Focus: You are well organized and proactive, ensuring candidates rarely stay in the ‘gray stage’ for extended periods while communicating clearly about any delays.
  • Communication: While the majority of your work experience will be in Japanese, we do require you to comfortable with written and verbal communications in English to work with cross functional teams globally
